Megan Senkowski Appointed to PICPA Committee on Professional Ethics

Megan Senkowski, CPA, a partner at Trout CPA, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Committee on Professional Ethics. The PICPA Professional Ethics Committee is responsible for investigating complaints against members, maintaining the PICPA Code of Professional Conduct, monitoring global ethics trends, and ethics education and outreach. This appointment, which spans a three-year term, recognizes Megan's exceptional expertise and dedication to upholding professional standards in the accounting industry. 

Megan joined Trout CPA in 2011 and has over 20 years of accounting experience. Her areas of expertise include employee benefit plans, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), and financial statements. Megan co-chairs the firm's Non-profit Practice Group. She also actively participates in various committees, including the Employee Benefit Plans Practice Group, Quality Control, Audit & Attest, and Business Development. 

With her expertise and dedication, Megan will undoubtedly positively impact the committee's initiatives and help uphold the integrity and ethics of the CPA profession.
