Michael Carr, CPA – Director of Tax Resolution Services
In the intricate landscape of Tax Resolution Services, Michael Carr, as the new Director, leads a team of CPAs at Trout CPA dedicated to swiftly resolving complex tax notices from authorities. Facing terms like REV-1706 and Intent to Levy, the team employs a strategic approach, crafting letters, engaging with authorities, and representing clients in IRS audits to ensure accurate and fair resolutions. Michael Carr's promotion underscores Trout CPA's commitment to guiding clients through regulatory challenges and achieving optimal outcomes in tax resolution.

Martha Guaigua, CPA – Senior Manager
Martha brings a wealth of expertise in estate and trust administration, individuals, and small businesses. As Senior Manager, Martha will continue to provide comprehensive tax solutions, including tax return preparation, strategic tax planning, and adeptly managing tax notices. 

Travis Oot, CPA – Senior Manager
Travis Oot's promotion to Senior Manager is a recognition of his outstanding contributions to our firm. His expertise and commitment to client success will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. 
As a Senior Manager, Travis is actively involved in the firm's Professional Services, Consumer Services, and Transaction Advisory Services groups. He assists clients with tax preparation, mergers and acquisitions, and business consulting.

Sean Post, CPA, CFE – Senior Manager
Sean joined Trout CPA in 2013 following an internship with the firm the previous summer. He graduated from Elizabethtown College (magna cum laude) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and a minor in Political Science. He serves on the firm’s Employee Benefit Plans and Forensic Accounting practice groups.

As a Senior Manager, Sean will continue to handle all aspects of assurance services, including financial statement preparation.

Heather Maillis, MBA, CPA – Manager
Heather joined Trout CPA in December 2022 with over 20 years of public accounting experience. As a Manager, Heather will handle all aspects of tax preparation, planning, and advisory for businesses and individuals.
