Earlier this year, we proudly announced that Senior Associate Aaron Fleitman had earned his AM (Accredited Member) designation from the esteemed American Society of Appraisers. Building upon this achievement, we are delighted to announce further his attainment of the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation from the American Society of Appraisers. This milestone is a testament to Aaron's exceptional dedication and expertise in business valuation. Earning this designation is no small feat; in addition to a college degree, it requires:
- Submitting an appraisal experience log or proof of appraisal experience;
- Passing all four Principles of Valuation (POV) courses in Business Valuation (BV201-BV204), pass the BV 8-hour Challenge Exam, or have an accepted equivalency;
- Submiting one (1) Comprehensive (i.e., complete narrative) Written Business Valuation Report that has been issued in the last two years for review by the American Society of Appraisers Board of Examiners; and
- Submitting a completed ASA Candidate BV Report Review Checklist.
Aaron joined Trout CPA in 2023 as a Senior Associate and a proven analyst with over six years of experience in business advisory and valuation. In 2016, he graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in finance, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics. Aaron also holds the ABV certification (Accredited in Business Valuation) issued by the AICPA. Leveraging his technology proficiency and knowledge of business valuation, Aaron provides insightful financial analysis and conclusions needed for the valuation of businesses as well as buy-side or sell-side business acquisition transaction advisory services. In his free time, he loves to spend quality time with his family.
