Dan Lerew, CPA

Dan joined Trout CPA in 2026 as an Assurance Partner, bringing more than 20 years of public accounting experience. Prior to joining Trout CPA, he spent 22 years at KPMG, where he most recently served as an Audit Partner.

Throughout his career, Dan has worked extensively with public and privately held organizations, primarily in the real estate and private equity industries. His experience includes leading audit engagements, advising management teams and audit committees on complex transactions, financial reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls.

Dan takes a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to client service, helping organizations navigate complex accounting matters and make informed business decisions. He enjoys working closely with clients to understand their goals, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical solutions that support their long-term success.
