Matthias joined Trout CPA in 2025. After a career as a high school math teacher, he transitioned his passion for numbers into becoming an accountant. He brings seven years of experience as a tax consultant with Big 4 firms before finding his home with Trout CPA.
As an Outsourced Accounting Manager, Matthias provides controller level services to his clients as well as advisory for technology implementation.
In his free time, Matthias enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and gaming. He lives with his wife and two sons in Leonardtown, Maryland.
