Andrew Rice, CPA, CVA

Partner, Transaction Advisory Services

Andrew leads Trout CPA’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice, providing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence to private equity firms, corporate acquirers, and investment banks. With nearly two decades of experience across consulting, private equity, and investment banking roles, Andrew brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to every transaction.

Throughout his career, Andrew has advised clients through hundreds of M&A transactions, offering expertise in Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis, deal structuring, working capital analysis, purchase agreement considerations, and transaction readiness. His experience on all sides of the deal (advisor and investor) makes him a valued partner to clients seeking not only technical accuracy but also strategic foresight in fast-moving deal environments. Andrew is sought after by his clients for practical expertise and the ability to see around the next corner of the transaction.

Holding both CPA and CVA designations, Andrew began his career at EY after graduating from Penn State. He has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations and was recognized as a Central Penn Business Journal Forty Under 40 award recipient.

Outside of the office, Andrew spends most of his time trying to keep up with his two young children. He has also recently dusted off his golf clubs after years of neglect, though his swing still shows strong evidence of those years off.
