Trout CPA is excited to welcome 18 accounting students to our summer internship program in 2026. These interns will work alongside our seasoned professionals to gain valuable insight and experience to help them develop the skills and tools needed to excel in a career in accounting. This year, the Accounting Internship Program runs from Monday, June 1, through Thursday, July 23rd.
Internships are an immensely important step in preparing students for successful careers, offering invaluable opportunities to apply academic knowledge in a professional setting. Our program is dedicated to creating a meaningful internship experience that helps students develop practical skills while gaining insight into the accounting profession. Each intern is matched with a mentor at the start of the program who provides guidance, support, and feedback to encourage both personal and professional development.
Designed to provide a well-rounded experience, our internship program introduces students to multiple areas of the firm, including tax, assurance, and advisory services. This rotational approach allows interns to broaden their understanding of public accounting and discover areas of interest. Interns will work alongside experienced mentors and professionals to gain exposure to a diverse client base across a variety of industries.
