Trout CPA is pleased to share that Nick Miller, CMI, has joined the firm as the Director of Indirect Tax, bringing over 18 years of experience in multi-state tax at national firms and in the industry,
Miller will lead and continue to build out our indirect tax services, including sales and use tax and state and local tax. He'll partner closely with our teams and clients to navigate complex compliance requirements, identify potential risks, and uncover planning opportunities.
He joins Trout CPA from global and national companies including CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) and Shift4, where he oversaw all aspects of indirect tax compliance and strategy. His background allows Trout CPA to strengthen our expertise and capabilities in this area as we continue to grow.
Miller is a Certified Member of the Institute (CMI) in Sales Tax from the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, is a Certified Avalara Implementor, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lock Haven University.
