Trout CPA is pleased to announce that the Central Penn Business Journal has selected Karen R. Shenk, CPA, CVA, CFE as a 2021 Forty Under 40 award recipient.
Forty Under 40 recognizes professionals 40 years of age and younger who have been successful in the Central Pennsylvania area. Honorees, chosen by the Central Penn Business Journal editors, were selected based on professional accomplishments, community service, and commitment to inspiring change.

The winners will be honored on October 14th at a celebration from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Harrisburg's outside terrace, One North Second Street in Harrisburg. Karen Shenk joined Trout CPA in 2012 after working at a firm in the Chicago area since 2004. She graduated from Trinity International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, with an emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Philosophy. She currently serves on the firm's Manufacturing, Construction, Non-Profit, and Forensics Practice Groups. Karen is also a member of the firm's Business Development and Quality Control Committees and chairs the firm's Client Service Committee.
