Mark Caltagirone, MBA, CPA, ASA

Mark brings extensive experience in business valuation, transaction advisory, and financial consulting, with a background that spans both public accounting and commercial banking. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with privately held and middle-market businesses, helping owners and leadership teams navigate complex financial matters and strategic decisions.

Mark’s experience includes valuations of closely held businesses, intangible asset appraisals, litigation support, and ownership transition planning. He has also advised clients on matters involving mergers and acquisitions, succession and transition strategies, and other situations where a clear understanding of business value is critical. His background as a former commercial banking executive gives him an additional perspective on financing, capital structure, and the financial considerations facing business owners.

Prior to joining Trout CPA, Mark served as a partner with a regional accounting firm and as a Senior Vice President in Santander Bank’s commercial middle-market group. He holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential from the AICPA, the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. Mark earned both his bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA in Finance from Lehigh University.
