Tribute to John

  • “John joined our team at Trout late in his career at a time when others may have been tempted to coast into retirement. In his case, nothing could be further from the truth.  From the moment he joined our firm until his retirement earlier this year, he was consistently among our hardest working team members and a true and consummate professional.  He was a tremendous role model for us all and I am so glad to have had a chance to know and work with him.” – Todd Harrington, CPA, CVA, CGMA, Managing Partner
  • "John was a great professional and human being.  He worked very hard and genuinely cared about his clients and fellow employees.  I am grateful that I had a chance to know and work with him." - Robin Bodine, CPA, Partner
  • "After working with John for 35 years and 10 months, I can honestly say that he was the best boss and co-worker I could ever have.  He never had a bad word to say about anyone.  He was a calm and patient man especially with me who does not always show those attributes.  He will be missed by me and all that knew him." - Monica Balchunas, John's Administrative Assistant
