Kristen O’Connell, CPP
Kristen is an Outsourced Accountant and Certified Payroll Professional with over 12 years of payroll and accounting experience.
As a member of the firm’s Outsourced Accounting Services Team, she actively seeks ways to improve and streamline a business’s payroll system, capabilities, and procedures. Kristen stays abreast of federal, state, and local requirements as well as proposed legislation. Her areas of expertise include payroll taxes, wage & hour law, process implementation, and proficiency in payroll software.
Kristen joined Trout CPA in 2018. Prior to her employment at Trout, CPA, Kristen was a Payroll Manager at a local certified public accounting firm in which she specialized in payroll processing, payroll taxes (including multi-state), process improvement, new client setups, and software support. She graduated from Central Penn College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 2013, she obtained her Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation from the American Payroll Association.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys exploring the world and spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.
