Pennsylvania 30 Day Fund

The forgivable loan, which has a maximum loan of $3,000, is intended to provide immediate financial assistance (within maximum three days) to meet payroll, preserve healthcare coverage for employees and save jobs while they await recently approved federal funding. Pennsylvania businesses that qualify for assistance from the Fund are:

  • Small businesses that employ three to 30 people
  • Based in Pennsylvania and have been operating for at least one year
  • Owned and operated by a Pennsylvania resident

Shuttered Venue Operators Grant

The Shuttered Venue Operators (SVO) Grant will allow eligible organizations the opportunity to receive a grant up to $10 million. Eligible entities include live venue operators or promoters, theatrical producers, live performing arts organization operators, relevant museum operators, zoos, and aquariums (who meet specific criteria), motion picture theater operators, talent representatives, and each business entity owned by an eligible entity that also meets the eligibility requirements. The program will open Monday, April 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM EDT.

Hospitality Industry Recovery Program 

On February 5, 2021, Governor Wolf signed into law Act 1, legislation that set aside $145 million in funds to aid hospitality industry businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Grants will be awarded in $5,000 increments with a $50,000 maximum.

Each county will administer the funding through one or more designated Certified Economic Development Organization (CEDO) or Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), which will then process applications from businesses in each county. CEDOs or CDFIs must begin accepting applications from businesses by March 15.

  • Berks County > (The application process starts April 26th at 12:00 PM and continues until May 17th, 2021 at 5:00 PM)
  • Cumberland County >  (Launches March 15, 2021 until June 15, 2021 at 5:00pm or earlier, if funds have been exhausted.)
  • Dauphin County >  (application window is closed)
  • Lancaster County >  (application window is closed)
  • Lebanon County > (Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis beginning March 15, 2021 and
    ending June 15, 2021 or until funds have been exhausted)
  • York County > (application window is closed)
  • Philadelphia County (application window is closed)

Restaurant Revitalization Fund

The Restaurant Revitalization Fund will provide $28.6 billion in grants to restaurants and bars that were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the SBA website, "This program will provide restaurants with funding equal to their pandemic-related revenue loss up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location. Recipients are not required to repay the funding as long as funds are used for eligible uses no later than March 11, 2023."
