We are proud to celebrate Tiffany Bender, CPA, and Chris Hartman, CPA, on being named recipients of the 2026 PICPA Young Leader Awards.
This recognition honors PICPA members under the age of 40 who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the accounting profession through their involvement with the PICPA and service to their communities. Past recipients have gone on to serve as PICPA leaders, committee chairs, and conference speakers, making this achievement a meaningful reflection of both Tiffany’s and Chris’s impact and potential.
Tiffany has developed into a trusted leader within the firm since joining in 2013. As a Partner, she provides assurance services to companies across a range of industries. Tiffany is an active member of our Construction, AEC, Real Estate and Employee Benefit Plan industry groups, as well as the firm’s Quality Control and ESOP Committees. She plays an important role in mentoring and developing our professionals while helping clients navigate complex accounting standards and evolving reporting requirements. Beyond the firm, Tiffany is deeply engaged in the community, serving as Treasurer of the Central PA Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association, a member of the Lancaster Chamber Audit Committee, and a board member of the Lancaster Early Education Center.
Since joining Trout CPA in 2014, Chris has grown into a key leader within the firm. As a Senior Manager, he handles all aspects of assurance services, including financial statement preparation, while also supporting clients with tax needs. He is an active member of our Construction, AEC, Real Estate, Manufacturing & Distribution, and Non-Profit industry groups, bringing versatile expertise to a wide range of clients. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Chris exemplifies Trout’s values through his deep commitment to community service as a volunteer firefighter and certified foster parent and through the meaningful relationships he builds both inside and outside the firm.
Tiffany’s and Chris’s recognition highlights the strength of our team and our commitment to developing leaders who make a difference both professionally and in the community. We are honored to see them recognized among the PICPA’s outstanding young professionals. Congratulations to Tiffany, Chris, and all of this year’s recipients!
