Patricia H. Herr, CPA, CFE


As a partner, Patricia H. Herr, CPA, CFE performs attestation and tax services for a variety of corporate and governmental entities including auto dealerships, manufacturing companies, rental and leasing entities and insurance agencies. She is the consulting partner at Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP on fraud related engagements. Trish serves on the firm’s quality control committee, performs annual in-house reviews for quality assurance and is active with the firm’s peer review process.

Trish joined Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP in 1985 and was admitted as a partner in 1993. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1995, Patricia achieved her designation as a Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She has also met the requirements concerning specific governmental accounting and auditing and fraud continuing professional education.

Trish is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Philadelphia Area Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners. She is currently Treasurer of the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra.
