Margaret L. Stauffer, CPA


Margaret L. Stauffer, CPA joined Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP in 1989 and was admitted as a partner in 1999.

Peggie is a graduate from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, cum laude. Peggie’s focus is in consulting services; audit, review and compilation; and multi-state taxation. She works with construction, manufacturing companies, and other closely held businesses as well as a variety of not-for-profit organizations. Her expertise in the construction industry has provided her multiple opportunities to teach courses on financial and business issues to the construction industry, including succession planning, construction accounting, project management and change order management.

Peggie serves on the firm’s Audit Efficiency Committee and Quality Control Committee. As a professional, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Peggie is active in the business community. She is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors. Peggie is also an active volunteer in the community. She is a past President of Lancaster Coalition for Smart Growth. She is also a past President of Lancaster County Conservancy and currently serves on its Governance Committee and Audit Committe.
