Krista A. Showers, CPA, CEBS


Krista A. Showers, joined Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP in 1990, and was admitted as a partner in 2002. Krista has expertise in audits of employee benefit plans, governmental agencies, and single audits. Additionally, Krista serves on the Firm's Employee Benefit Plan Committee, GASB Committee, and Quality Control Committee.

Krista received a Bachlor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Economics/Business Administration, magna cum laude, with a Certificate in Management from Immaculata College. She also received a Masters in Business Administration Degree from Lebanon Valley College. Krista also was granted the designation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) by the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.

As a professional, Krista is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Association of Federal Program Coordinators, the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists, and the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of Employee Benefit Specialists. Krista is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials and the Government Finance Officers' Association and serves on the Special Review Committee.

As part of the Lancaster County community, Krista serves on the Board of Directors for the Lancaster Day Care Center.
