Krista A. Showers, CPA, CEBS


Krista A. Showers, CPA, CEBS joined Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP after graduating from Immaculata College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Economics/Business Administration, magna cum laude, with a Certificate of Management. She also received a Masters in Business Administration degree from Lebanon Valley College. Krista was admitted as a partner in 2002. In 2002, she was granted the designation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) by the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.

As a partner, Krista's focus and expertise is in audits of employee benefit plans and governmental agencies. Krista also specializes in Single Audits. Additionally, Krista serves on the Firm's Quality Control Committee, Benefits Plans Committee and GASB Committee.

Professionally, Krista is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Association of Federal Program Coordinators, the International Society of Certified Empolyee Benefit Specialists, the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists, and the Lancaster Chapter of Professional Referral Exchange.
