Jill E. Gilbert, CPA


Jill E. Gilbert, CPA joined Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP in 1995 and was admitted as a partner in 2007. Jill has expertise in audits of employee benefit plans, governmental agencies and non-profits. Additionally, Jill serves on the firm's Business Development Committee, Audit Efficiency Committee and Quality Control Committee.

Jill received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and finance, and a math minor from Elizabethtown College. She has met the requirements concerning specific governmental accounting and auditing countinuing professional education.

In 2009 Jill was chosen by the Central Penn Business Journal as one of Central Pennsylvania's 2009 Forty Under 40 award winners. The forty winners are a select group of individuals who have achieved notable success and demonstrated strong leadership both within and outside of their chosen field. Jill was chosen for her commitment to professional excellence and the community.

As a professional, Jill is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials and the Government Finance Officers' Association and serves on the Special Review Committee.

She is also an active member of the community. Jill serves on the Board of Directors of Willow Valley Retirement Communities, is a member of the Elizabethtown Rotary Club and the vice-chairman of the Elizabethtown Fire Company Endowment Fund
