Douglas L. Smith, CPA, CVA


As a partner, Douglas L. Smith CPA, CVA specializes in tax and consulting services, attest services, estate planning and business valuations. He often works with physician practices, professional practices, construction and manufacturing companies, as well as a variety of small business clients.

Doug joined Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP after graduating from Geneva College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He was admitted as a partner in 1983. Doug has also completed continuing education programs in Taxation, Estate Planning and Business/Valuations, and Accounting.

Doug is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the Lancaster Estate Planning Council and the Lancaster Country Club Board of Governors.
