Donald F. Johnson, Jr., CPA


As a Managing Partner, Donald F. Johnson, Jr., CPA is responsible for the overall operations of Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP. Additionally, he specializes in the areas of governmental and single audit services. He often works with governmental organizations, school board organizations and nonprofit organizations. Don serves on the firm’s Quality Control Committee and Audit Efficiency Committee.

Don joined Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP after graduating from Elizabethtown College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He also completed the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Governmental Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Educational Achievement Program. Don has met the requirements concerning specific governmental accounting and auditing continuing professional education.

Don is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials and Government Finance Officers Association. Don is currently the Treasurer for Strasburg Area Sertoma Club and the Strasburg Community Parks Foundation and the Finance Chairman for the Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board.
