David T. Fritz, Sr., CPA


As a partner, David T. Fritz, Sr., CPA specializes in tax planning, tax preparation and entity selection for small business and corporations. He also assists in personal financial and tax planning issues for his clients. Dave is responsible for all of the firm’s professional education and training. He directs young professionals in their career aspirations and provides the fundamental core requirements for all continuing education that is required for state licensing.

Dave received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Franklin and Marshall College. He joined Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP in 1975 and was admitted as a partner in 1981. Dave also received a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Personal Financial Planning sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has completed continuing education programs in Taxation, Financial and Estate Planning and Accounting.

As a professional, Dave is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Lancaster Estate Planning Council. He is also active in the community. Dave is a past Chairman of the Professional Division for United Way of Lancaster County. He is past Finance Chairman for the Board of Pastoral Council of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and is a past Finance Chairman for Lancaster Catholic High School Development Committee. Dave is a past President of United Disabilities Services and a past Treasurer of Lancaster Sertoma Club.
