Trout, Ebesole & Groff, LLP is pleased to welcome Emily A. McGraw to our firm. As a Staff Accountant, Emily will not only be a member of our tax and audit team but will also be a key professional in TEG’s new cybersecurity team.
Emily remembers her passion for accounting started at a young age, “Since I was in kindergarten, I have wanted to pursue accounting and my interest has only increased from my coursework and experience.” Emily graduated from Robert Morris University in December 2017 with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and an M.S. in Cyber Security and Information Assurance. While attending Robert Morris University, she participated in several internship programs, including one at TEG, which allowed her the opportunity to apply the knowledge she obtained.
Emily enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and attending local festivals and plays. She also has a passion for children’s education and for helping others. In a recent three-week trip to Kathmandu, Nepal, Emily volunteered at the OCCED orphanage where she taught grades 1-6, helped the children with their homework, and played with them. While in Nepal, Emily participated in a Nepali language lesson and took a cooking class to learn how to make momo (Nepalese dumplings).
