Trout CPA is pleased to announce Partner Karen Shenk, CPA, CVA, CFE has earned the professional designation of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) from the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals. This prestigious certification indicates that Karen has completed the necessary education and experience requirements and has passed the written CCIFP examination.
Karen joined Trout CPA in 2012 after working at a firm in the Chicago area since 2004. She graduated from Trinity International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, with an emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Philosophy. She currently serves on the firm's Manufacturing, Construction, Not-for-Profit, and Forensics Practice Groups. Karen is also a member of the firm's Business Development, Quality Control Committees, and chairs the firm's Attest Services Committee and Client Services Committee.
